Tyler Perry is a fool

These new promotional pics for Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Jail are a real geek.

…And I watched The Family That Prey’s. It wasn’t that bad. I actually thought the characters were quite complex. Still the same predictable Tyler Perry story lines, but I think this time, he didn’t spell everything out for you and let you come to your own conclusion as a viewer.

watching my favorite movie Juno,

FEAR (1996)

Ok. There arent’t tons of movies that just scare the shit out of me, but the movie FEAR (1996), with Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon creeps me out. I remember thinking that it scared me because I was young when I first saw it and didn’t really understand all that was going on. I was 10 in 96’. I just watched in a couple of days ago. It still creeps me out. The whole mirror scene with the home made tattoo, and when they cut the dogs head off. They did too much in that movie.

There is a big difference between what a 10 year old and a 22 year old find scary. Maybe not, but its true for me. Fear is scary for me know because I can count on my hand how many of my good girl friends would fall for that mysterious bad boy act in a heartbeat.

And for a crazy psycho Mark had game. I mean he fingered the girl on a Ferris wheel. A FUCKING FERRIS WHEEL, if that’s not pimp shit I don’t know what is. Tell me how many of your friends would fall for some shit like that???… Don’t worry I’ll wait.

That movie was just real for me. I know that girl! Maybe in reality she doesn’t have blonde hair, and her dad doesn’t go on to work for Las Vegas CSI, and her best friend isn’t Phoebe Halliwell, but you switch 2 or 3 things around and replace murder with physical or verbal abuse. Then tell me that FEAR isn’t a scary movie.

You know that girl and you know it doesn’t end like the movie.

That shit should be an after school special.

Drop Dead Fred should be the favorite movie of any person that’s ever had an imaginary friend. I had a few. they were cool.  I don’t think any of mine had red hair, an annoying accent, or was that mischievious but this movie is a good chuckle. Its good for up tight adults to watch. I think it helps to hold on to that one last bit of childhood that might get lost in the hustle and bustle of adulthood. Its also a good way for kids to do a bunch of shit and blame it on someone else.
